Terms and Conditions

Thank you for allowing me to show you how I find my calm; here’s to exploring more of your creativity and calm you too.

Just a little bit of housekeeping with regards to our Workshops.

– We can only secure your seat once full payment has been received.

– All of our bookings need to be made online so there is no confusion nor double bookings

– Unfortunately, we can not refund or give credit due to the nature of these workshops. We highly encourage you to send a friend along to take your spot – please notify us prior as a lot of these workshops are personalised and I take extra care on place cards etc.

– If you make a booking for a workshop that involves more than one day, you can not receive a refund or credit for any remaining days you do not wish to attend nor can they be transferred to anyone else.

– We have class minimums to meet, if we do not make them and need to cancel a class we may do so at any time and offer you a full refund or a credit to attend a class at the same value within a 12 month period.

– If a workshop is listed that it provides light refreshments or snacks, please note that we do endeavour to only serve wholesome snacks, but on account of severe allergies we do not guarantee the correct foods can be provided.

By purchasing one of our Workshops you agree to our Terms and Conditions.

Terms and Conditions Regarding our Magazines and Art Packs

Due to the nature of our magazine and art packs I can not and do not accept cancellations.
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged.
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Digital downloads
  • Items on sale
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

If you are having difficulties with your download we will do everything within our means to assist you.

Every end-user has different download speeds and wifi connections and the download of our digital products is up to the end-user and their connection. The Calm Studio is not responding for connectivity issues.

PRIVACY POLICY

THE CALM STUDIO Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is shared, used and collected when you visit https://www.thecalmstudio.com.au (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT I COLLECT

Upon visiting the Site, it automatically collects certain information about your device, including information about your IP address, time zone, web browsers, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Also, as you browse the Site, information is collected about the individual products or web pages that you view, search terms or what websites referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. This referred to automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

When I talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, I am talking both about Device Information and Contact Information.

HOW YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS USED

The Calm Studio uses this Personal Information to communicate with you and, when in line with the preferences you have shared with me, provide you with information relating to my products or services.

The Calm Studio uses the Device Information that is collected to help generally improve and optimize my Site (for example, by generating analytics about how my visitors browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of my marketing and advertising campaigns).

EXPLAINING YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident I may process your information to pursue my legitimate business interests listed above. Please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Google Analytics is used to help me understand how my visitors use the Site.

The are various Plugins used on this Site that require obtaining information in order for them to perform. These currently include MailChimp, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.

I may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect my rights.

CHANGES

I, Sandy Cousens of The Calm Studio, may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to my practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

EXPLAINING DATA RETENTION

When you contact me via the Site, I will maintain your Contact Information for my records unless and until you ask me to delete this information.
